Infotrak Poll Reveals the Party Winning Kenya's Political Contest

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has tasked former Meru County Governor Kiraitu Murungi, one of the respected political bigwigs in Mt Kenya, to woo former and retired President Uhuru Kenyatta to join the camp of President William Ruto ahead of the upcoming 2027 general election.

Speaking during the Annual Meru Dairy Farmers Field Day event at ASK Gitoro Showground, Meru County, the second in command did not hide his intention to have former President Uhuru Kenyatta join President William Ruto's Tutam movement.

Also, Kindiki took the opportunity to downplay reports that the Mt Kenya region might be divided into 2, saying that the region has been one in voting and other aspects and that Kenyans should not listen to leaders to attempt to spew division.


"Wacha nikutume mzee Kiraitu Murungi, kwa sababu unajua hakuna mtu ako na CV kama yako. What you do, enda utafute rais mstaafu Uhuru Kenyatta. Ni kiongozi wetu. Sisi tulimuunga mkono mia kwa mia.

"Kwa hivyo utafute kiongozi wetu Uhuru Kenyatta, muongee kama watu waliostaafu ndio hii jamii iongee lugha moja, lugha ya Tutam" Kithure Kindiki said.
